Question 1

What is a mould mask and why does it work better?

Accepted Answer

It sets into a soft, flexible layer rather than drying hard and cracking. That layer seals whatever sits beneath it against the skin, so actives get absorbed instead of evaporating into the air. It cools noticeably as it sets and lifts away in one piece, meaning no scrubbing on skin that has just been calmed down.

Question 2

Which of the two formulations is right for me?

Accepted Answer

Skin type decides this, not preference. Oily skin dealing with surface oil or pimples needs the Aloe Vera and Hyaluronic Acid version, which pairs oil control with hydration. Dry to normal skin showing dullness or fatigue suits the Rose Petal and Vitamin C option, which is explicitly unsuitable for oily or acne-prone skin.

Question 3

How long does a mould mask appointment take at home?

Accepted Answer

Around forty-five minutes to an hour altogether. The mask is mixed fresh for you, sets within three to four minutes and is worn for roughly twelve to fifteen minutes while you rest. The remaining time covers cleansing and preparing the skin beforehand plus the finishing application. Most of the session involves simply lying still.

Question 4

Does this treatment require any particular aftercare afterwards?

Accepted Answer

It depends which formulation was used. The rose and Vitamin C version needs SPF 30 or higher afterwards, because Vitamin C makes skin more responsive to sunlight and skipping protection undoes the work entirely. The Aloe and Hyaluronic Acid version needs standard sun protection and a gentle routine. Your professional confirms before leaving.

Question 5

Is the mask prepared fresh for each individual booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It is mixed at the time from a measured ratio of powder to jelly activator and never carried over from a previous appointment. Every booking uses a sealed kit or properly sanitised equipment opened fresh for you, disposable items are discarded in front of you, and reusable tools are disinfected beforehand.

Question 6

Can I add this to another service in the same visit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it frequently makes sense to. The rose and Vitamin C formulation is specifically positioned as a calming step following a cleanup, facial or de-tan treatment, giving skin something soothing once the harder work is done. Select both services when booking online and they will be scheduled into a single visit.
